OMG, the newest Bivouac hard cider seasonal release, is the perfect fruity companion for any warm-weather activity! The combination of orange, mango, and guava makes it both refreshing and delicious to sip on while cooling off outside!
This post highlights some of our favorite places to enjoy Bivouac’s OMG hard cider. Have a different favorite? We would love to hear! Let us know in the comments below or on social media @bivouaccider, and tell us the best place you have enjoyed OMG this summer!
Best Places to Enjoy OMG:
Relaxing Poolside with OMG
What is a better way to enjoy some time by the pool than with a refreshing drink? The fruity flavors of OMG instantly make you feel like you’re floating on a tropical island. Bonus points if your pool float has a cup holder for a Bivouac can!
Long Days at the Beach
Pack a small cooler with cans of Bivouac cider (super easy to bring to the beach!) and some snacks that pair well, such as cheese and crackers or chips and dip. Crack open a cider with some friends while the waves crash in the background!
Water Activities such as Kayaking or Paddleboarding
Kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or canoeing are fun summer activities, especially during a heat wave! You can easily rent kayaks or SUPs (stand-up paddleboards), so don’t worry if you don’t own your own. Kayaking is one of our favorite things to do in the summer to cool off and see places you can’t see from land!
- Remember to bring a can or two of OMG to enjoy along the way!
Outdoor Movie Night Under the Stars
An outdoor movie night is such a classic summer activity to enjoy with friends or family. You can set up a large area on any flat surface (like the side of your house or garage) using a projector and a white sheet to watch a movie outside. Pop some popcorn and hit play on your favorite movie!
Bike Ride along the Pacific Coast
One of the best ways to enjoy the summer weather is by taking a scenic bike ride. Renting beach cruisers and exploring the Pacific Coast on a bike is one of our favorite ways to be active outside! If you are near San Diego, you can stop by the Bivouac Taproom for some food and drinks to refuel!
Summer wouldn’t be complete without planning a camping trip! It’s a great weekend activity to squeeze in before the weather cools down. Hang out in your hammock, read a book, and enjoy some hikes nearby. Remember to pack marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate to end the day with s’mores by the fire!
- Just make sure to check for local fire bans in your area!
A backyard BBQ with friends might be the ultimate summer activity! Some BBQ ideas that pair well with Bivouac’s OMG hard cider are grilled fish for fish tacos with mango salsa and grilled peaches for dessert!
After a long (or short) hike, there is no better feeling than taking off your boots and getting home to enjoy a post-hike treat. A cold can of OMG is the perfect post-hike drink that’s refreshing and thirst-quenching!
We always keep a post-hike recovery kit in the car. Some items include extra water, snacks, comfortable shoes such as sandals, and a change of clothes. This kit makes the drive home after a long, hot hike much more enjoyable.
If you still need to get your hands on a can of OMG, make sure to get one soon before this limited release is gone for the season!
While we love Bivouac’s newest launch for all summer activities, any of the Bivouac hard ciders would be great! You can find Bivouac ciders at various retailers in Arizona and Southern California (check out the store locator tab) or at Bivouac’s North Park Taproom in San Diego!
